A warm welcome to the Forest Song film premiere!

The film ‘Forest Song’ is a project three years in the making, produced by Natural History Filmmaker Molly Hackett, following the journey of 130 Ugandan school children as they venture into the Budongu Forest for the very first time.

Thanks to the support of the U.K. registered charity Children of Masindi, Uganda, the children were provided with the opportunity to explore their natural heritage and learn not only about the beauty and importance it holds, but also the threats it faces. Joined by Hattie, a school child from Bristol and members of the Children of Masindi team, this once in a lifetime opportunity is documented on a cross-generational and cross cultural short film, now showing its premier.

Horfield School choir will also be performing a selection of songs including The Forest Song which was written by the pupils and music composed by a member of the school staff.

The premier takes place on 17th June in Trinity Henleaze URC Church. We hope to see you there.
